Shift List Master

Using this form you can add and delete shift list and update related information.

This form is for the number of shift patterns present in the organization. Such as 7 day pattern, 14 day pattern (Two shifts), 21 day pattern (Three shifts).

Here in Shift List Id, You can put an ID from 10 onwards.
In Shift List Name field, give name to the shift list such as GL for General, FL for 1st, SL for 2nd, TD for Third.
In the field of Number of Days in List, give numbers as 7, 14, 21 as the same pattern repeats.

The Methodology:

For new shift list click on New, Lets say You give shift ID as 10,
List name as GL, Days in List as 7, click on the arrow at the next. You can see table containing serial number up to 7, Shift Id and shift Name. Click on the NOSHIFT below shift name you can see the name of shift defined in Shift, click GL in case of General shift, In case of first shift, the 7th day is weekly. This shift pattern is such that it will repeat itself after 7 days and so we can plan for the future days. The similar process is for 14 day pattern and 21 day pattern.

Click on Master >> Shift List(Alt + M + S + S) to open Shift List Master form.

Add Shift List:

  • Click on New button (Alt + N) to add new entry to master.
  • Enter Shift List ID and Shift List Name.
  • Enter Number of days in list required (digits from 1 to 366)
  • Click on the arrow box next to Number of days field, you will find the list added below it.
  • Select and click required Shift Name from the list to assign shift name. 
  • Select the Shift Name from the drop down list / combo box.
  • Click on Add (Alt + A) button to save that entry.

Edit Shift List:

  • Select Shift List from the list below the control panel.
  • Click on Edit button (Alt + E) to edit selected entry.
  • You can here edit Shift List Name, No. of days in list and shift name from the drop down list.
  • Click on Save button (Alt + S) to save edited information.

Delete Shift List:

  • Select Shift List Name from the list.
  • Click on Delete button (Alt + D) to delete selected entry from masters.

Both processes, i.e. adding new entry and editing existing entry can be aborted by clicking on Cancel (Alt + C) button.

Click on Refresh (Alt + R) button to reload the entries from database onto form.

You can export master data to Excel sheet using the Export (Alt + X) button.
